The very best way to fix this is to go here and create a free business account even though you may never use it:

Click Get Started. Fill out the info as if you had a business. The critical piece of info is the email address. It must match the one you login to facebook with.
Once your account is created you will land on your new business home page. Click your email address at the top right then in the drop down click “Go to my Personal Profile” and click once. Then you should regain access to your personal page again.
Jeremiah Gillanders commented below that this does indeed work: He says… “I created a facebook business account, then I loged into my personal account from the business account and that fixed the problem.”
Another helpful person reported this: When you get the white page, change the URL address to https://beta.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1 I did this in Chrome, where I had a FB white page, and my regular FB account opened immediately!!!!!

If the fixes listed here do not work, it SHOULD RESOLVE over time on it’s own but you can PREVENT it. It may take a few days or weeks to resolve.
Things Myself and Others Have Tried to fix it…
1) Clearing Cookies and Cache
2) Getting Latest Version of Java
3) Getting Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player
4) Different Browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari)
5) Login to a different Facebook Account (Which did work and which shows it’s not your computer but rather a specific facebook account issue)
6) Microsoft Security Essentials Antivirus Software
7) MalwareBytes Software
8) CCleaner
9) [NEW] Remove malicious inserts into your hosts file. Ask if you need help with this. Video coming soon.
Also try this:
When you see the blank page change the address from https://www.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1 to https://beta.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1 and hit enter. Then type in your username and password and you should see your timeline again. For me it worked but I always have to do it this way to access my timeline. If you are able to get in, follow this video to prevent this from happening again:
