Saudi cyber experts held urgent talks on Tuesday after government facilities were hacked, official media reported.

The cyber attacks “in recent weeks targeted government institutions and vital installations in the kingdom,” the Saudi Press Agency reported, without identifying the targeted agencies.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia’s goal when it comes to the Syria crisis was for “different opposition groups to come together and create a constructive platform for dialogue with the Assad regime,” during an address to students from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on Tuesday. Lavrov stressed the need for a “mutual agreement,” if a resolution to the Syrian crisis is to be found.
